The Stricto Sensu Post-Graduate Program in Dentistry was created in 2003 and until 2020 was linked to the University of Pitagoras Unopar/Londrina-PR. From 2021 it migrated to Anhanguera University – Uniderp/Campo Grande-MS (Legal Approval No. 77/2021-DAV/CAPES).
The academic master and doctorate, concept 4 at CAPES/MEC, has two areas of concentration: Preventive and Restorative Dentistry and Orthodontics. The faculty is composed of doctors with great professional experience and high scientific production.
To form human resources with a solid technical-scientific qualification, endowed with a critical spirit and humanistic ethical reflection through integrated teaching, research and extension activities for teaching career, for research effectiveness and professional exercise, considering both areas of concentration and their specific social demands.

Research Lines:
Study of the means of diagnosis of malocclusions and evaluation of the various therapeutic modalities, as well as the effects induced by orthodontic movement in oral tissues.
Research Line 2 – Epidemiology, prevention, diagnosis and treatment in Dentistry:
It studies aspects related to the epidemiological survey, diagnosis and treatment of health conditions in order to establish individual and collective strategies for the control of oral pathologies, seeking methods and educational, preventive and control resources. This research line aims to generate scientific evidence of clinical and social relevance in the field of Dentistry.
Research Line 3 – Physical, chemical, biological and mechanical properties of dental materials:
To study the physical, chemical, biological and mechanical properties of dental materials aiming their application in clinical procedures and development of new materials in partnership with the industry.
